NOTES:
A very early RHCP show. This recording has been considerred rare for a long time and is still a hard to find item. Nevertheless, there are multiple CD versions out there already, probably sourced from tapes of various generations. I assume they are all from the same recording source though. The tape flip occures just at the very beginning of "Nevermind". A bit questionable is the venue or this perfomance, although it's always been a mistery I decided to go for The Keystone as this is the only club in Palo Alto I can think of, that would let a band like the early RHCP play in.

Two of my trading buddies and I chipped in to buy some RHCP tapes in 2003 or 2004, one of these being this tape. I ended up getting and transferring the tapes, but due to my very cheap tape deck and my tiny knowledge about tape conversions back then, the result was anything but satisfying. This one will be a definite upgrade to the former transfer.
